About my pet? [Dog]

I have a pet and its a dog its name is coco.Its gender is a girl her age is four.Her Breed is {Staffi cross half pitful}.Coco's coulor is 'brown' and abit blond.What she likes is tennes balls alot, Going for walks,Runs,Being with the family,Going hypo,Loves playing.What she dont like is going past the shops ecspeicaly the beach shop,Having to stay home while were gone,Doesnt like loud noises.Favourite food is anything mostly but probably this,Her dog biscuits that she eats. Her Habits is that she doesnt like going anywere without my mum,shes scared of loud as noises,She always loves going inside the blankets at night.Her favourite place is home and my nans house nowhere else.Thats all about my dog.

                        Well being is the things you like being around and like eating and doing.
 

Ra Haka Day

 Friday 21/May The whole school of Otaki College did a Haka on that day called Ko Wai Ra.First of all we all did karakia first and  the roll .Then all went to the hall and the whole school were doing the words and the  haka actions too.Then went into kairahi time.Then after little lunch back into hall for refresh.After that split up into our house groups. Matai,Totara,Rimu,Kauri. then they were all teaching the actions and doing it at the places that the groups got split up. Then all came to the gym and did the haka of each groups. And showed what all the groups of the house coulors showed off of Ko Wai Ra adfter that the whole school stood up and did the haka all together.and on big lunch break two they had sausage sizzle  some games and food.To get but the food cost and you had to fill out this form for a free sausage.At the end we went home and It was a long day. 

curriculum'sport

 I get along with my work in class sometimes I could get annoyed of maths,writing, reading but I still do  my work. Also writing I could write fast and at the end I correct my spelling of the words.            

 What Sport I like is called netball I played netball when I was in primary  I might try A different sport if i had to do a sport when im older. Netball is i'm favourite sport mostly.My goal is that iwant to get fitter so I don't get in'geries

Science roadshow 2021

 

                         Tuesday the 30 March The year 7 and 8 went to a roadshow in the hall at Otaki collage. Also Two things I enjoyed  about was this untangle the rope and this cent smell about fruit and and you guess what it is.I enjoyed those two activities because they were fun. also what one thing the presenters showed was That if you put fire by a  balloon it will pop  and  balloons have air in it so it would make a loud noise that why the year 7 and 8's had to block there ears.After the roadshow we went back to class.

Otaki Bollards

 ŌTAKI COLLEGE BOLLARDS

W.A.L.T express our ideas about the bollards installed along our driveway. We are using descriptive language and checking our sentence structure is correct in our blog writing.

There is  Bollards now cause when they were not  there people would  just go  running across the road and biking. Also cars could easily come up the driveway and probably run you over. So there is bollards because to keep the school safe and to make sure they don't go on the road so  they would have to walk on the footpath or walk there bike by the bollards. And there is a little crossing in the middle of the bollards for people to cross or walk there bike across.

OC Ceremony.

 At Otaki collage we had S.S Otaki ceremony For captain Lewis Robinson,Mr Mervyn Martin Ms Christine Papps,Mr Rawiri Rikihana, and other. Also two people that did the karanga was  whaea Maha and a student from Otaki collage . And Father Phil Cody had a job of talking to a lot of very important people for the  ceremony and he talked on a mic to the school and the people that came for the ceremony. And we welcomed the people in and sang a song for them that we were practising for the ceremony and it is called Ma wai ra. Then  Mr frazer stood up and talked on the mic  for a while about what happend  in the war some people died and just forgiving there lives and about the people that came for the ceremony. So we sang some important songs and stood up singing for a couple of hours. also A porwhiri is like a meeting for people to meet and something that could be important in it. Mana was a Flag bearer for the S.S Otaki. What I enjoyed was the Songs and it was Ma wai ra ,Ko Tenei Te wa.
